DEVELOPING A PSYCHOLOGY OF HEALTH
The enormous amount of research in recent years about the mind/body/spirit
connection have introduced us to those factors that contribute to health and healing. In this talk, Dr. Sorah Dubitsky, will
discuss what those factors are and how we can incorporate them into our lives to become healthier, happier and more successful.
This talk will encompass models derived from cognitive, social, developmental and transpersonal psychology as will as provide
a brief description of the mind/body connection.
SUCCESS WITHOUT STRESS
Many of us are working harder
and harder to enhance our professional and financial lives. Keeping up with a demanding career can take its toll on our well-being,
especially if we're trying to attend to the needs of our home and family as well. Medical science has shown that stress is
related to heart disease, cancer, even the common cold. This seminar will give you practical ways of coping with the stressors
in your life to reduce their effects. You will learn quick, effective ways to replenish the energy you expend. You will also
learn how to let go of the worry that blocks creativity and keeps you from seeing your life as a great adventure.
HOW
TO BE HAPPY IN SPITE OF IT ALL
We all long to be happy, yet sometimes happiness eludes us. This one-day workshop takes
a multidimensional view of happiness. We will explore how we can create happiness in our lives at the physical, mental, emotional,
and spiritual levels of our being. Some of the issues we will discuss include taking time to have fun, reversing negative
thinking, and how to be a creator rather than a reactor. Most importantly, we will come to understand that happiness is a
decision we can make when we recognize that the purpose of our lives is growth.
DISCOVERING YOUR CREATIVE GENIUS
There is a power that resides in us all. This power is the untapped potential of mind. Undergoing the processes presented
in this workshop will reveal this inner source of strength. By bringing these strengths to awareness, we become proactive
rather than reactive. We shape our destinies by ridding ourselves of limited thinking. We see problems as opportunities for
growth--opportunities to seek inspiration.
THE DYNAMICS OF INTIMACY
Intimacy, phonetically, could be pronounced
as "Into me see." Intimate Relationships are the most significant relationships we have in this world. These relationships
can support us and make us glow, or tear us down and burn us out. The purpose of this talk is to explore the dynamics of intimacy:
the rapture, the pitfalls and the paths to growth. Topics covered include: What is attraction, Letting go of teenage sexual
attitudes; embracing our sexuality, and balancing male/female energy. We will use breath, sound, movement and myth making
to communicate in new ways. We will ask ourselves what we want from our intimate relationships and what we're willing to give.
We will take a step toward true intimacy -- seeing into one another's souls.
LIVING A JUICY LIFE
A juicy
life is one that is lived with passion and purpose. It's knowing that whatever the roller coaster of our lives brings us,
we're safely strapped into the seat of our inner knowing. This workshop will help us relish the totality of our life experience.
We will become the heroes and heroines of our own life's drama. We will be given tools and processes for uncovering our joy,
being authentic, expressing our truth non-defensively, knowing we have an infinite source of strength we can draw from, and
savoring every precious moment of our life's journey. We will discover the three keys to juiciness. We will learn to view
our lives with humor, gentleness and grace.
SENSUALITY, SEXUALITY, AND SPIRITUALITY
In this experiential
lecture, participants will learn about the philosophy and psychology of Kundalini. We will discuss sex as an energy that is
related to passion and creativity. We will explore why we abuse our sexuality, as well as how to create meaningful relationships.
Through breathing, meditation, and imagery, we will touch the deepest part of our selves--the part that is connected to God
and to each other.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HEAL THE SOUL?

have lost the sense of freedom and play we had when we were kids. This workshop will gently connect us to the innocence we
carry at the core of our beings. Through music, movement, imagery, stories, and sharing we will release the shrouds that mask
our joy. By connecting to our souls we will understand what our life's purpose is as women. We will come to honor and appreciate
the resilient, magnificence of our feminine essence.
HOW TO BE A MYSTIC IN MIAMI--OR ANYWHERE ELSE
A mystic
is someone who is able to find a higher meaning and purpose in any situation. This workshop focuses on three central themes
found in a number of diverse spiritual traditions: (1) Which voice are we listening to? (2) How to forgive and let go of the
past. (3) What is our life's purpose? We will learn to focus the power of our Mind to turn situational challenges into opportunities
for growth. We will look at how our beliefs contribute to our perceptions of people and events. We will also look at the role
meditation, prayer and faith have in creating a purposeful life.
BEGINNER'S MEDITATION
There have been
a number of scientific studies showing the health benefits of meditation. Meditation clears the mind, enhances creativity,
and deeply relaxes the body. This four-week workshop will introduce people to a full spectrum of meditative techniques. These
techniques include breathing exercises, repetitive phrases, affirmations, guided imagery, progressive relaxation, and autogenics.
The exercises are drawn from Jewish meditation methods, Transcendental Meditation, The Relaxation Response, and Mindfulness
Training.
FEELING OUR FEMININE FIRE
Feminine energy is often
described as a passive, receptive state. But, there is an aspect of the feminine that is dynamic and creative. The intuitive
spark that inspires us to grow is often denied, quelling the fire of our femininity. This workshop will light ignite our passions
and fuel our visions. We will actually become aware of a heightened sense of awareness, an exhilarated yet peaceful state
of mind that contains all answers to our life's longing. We will extol our wisdom, power and strength, and make our voices
heard. We will pledge to be the force for change the world is calling for.
